Holistic Health Fair at the Meyrick Hotel

Dr Bhatti’s Clinic of Complementary and Natural Medicine will host a Holistic Health Fair at the Meyrick Hotel on Saturday, February 11, from 1-5pm.

The fair will introduce the different treatments available at the multi-disciplinary clinic, including free assessments. Admission is free and advance booking for the assessments is recommended to avoid disappointment. The treatments available at the clinic include reflexology, acupuncture, bio-energy, herbal medicine, psychotherapy, counseling, and aesthetic treatments.

Dr Bhatti established the Clinic of Complementary and Natural Medicine over 21 years ago, at its current location on Forster Street in Galway. Due to the recent expansion in therapies and treatments, the open day is being held to showcase the benefits of a multi-disciplinary approach to health.

Speaking about the open day, Dr Bhatti promoted the benefits of this holistic approach: “At our clinic we believe in working together to find the best method of treating patients, and in some instances a combination of two or more therapies can provide the best results, depending on condition and history of individual” he said.

The afternoon will provide a wealth of information on complementary therapies, with talks on depression, tackling hay fever, anti-ageing and the possibility that allergies may be causing weight gain.

Dr Bhatti will also introduce two treatments for improving skin conditions: medical micro-needling and cosmetic acupuncture. Visitors will be invited to have a free skin scope assessment which will highlight the affects of ageing, sun damage, environmental toxins and other factors which can contribute to premature ageing. After this assessment the therapist will discuss the best treatment, or combination of treatments and special discount rates will be available on the day.
